On 26th October, selective audience witnessed the Annamacharya Compositions been rendered by Chaitanya Brothers at Kalabharati auditorium. They were accompanied by Sri.Mangalagiri Sridhar on Mridangam, Sri. H.Ramacharan on violin, Sri. Kumar on Flute and Sri. Anand on tabla. They rendered devotional music. Sri.Sivasagar Rao, former CMD, Vizag Steel Plant was the chief guest.

Visakha Music and Dance Academy (VMDA) had organized a carnatic vocal recital to commemorate the anniversary of one of the Musical Trinity and saint composer Sri. Muthu Swamy Dikshitar on 20th October, 2009 at Kalabharathi Auditorium. Sri.C.S.N.Raju, Founder President VMDA, Smt. Vasundhara Devi, a senior musician, Sri. G.R.K.Prasad (Rambabu) and a host of dignitaries have graced the occasion. There was a melodious vocal recital by widely reputed artiste Smt. Manda Sudharani who rendered effectively the intricacies in the compositions with ease and won the acclaim of pundits. She was ably accompanied on violin by sri. K.V.S.Prasad, and sri. G.Venkata Rao accompanied her on Mridangam.
