4th National Open Taekwondo Championship 4th National Open Taekwondo Championship 4th National Open Taekwondo Championship
4th National Open Taekwondo Championships held at Swarna Bharathi Indoor Stadium, Visakhapatnam. Nearly 1000 participants and 60 Technical Officials from all over the country have participated in the above championships. Medalists of the above championships will be in the National Coaching Camp in preparation for 18th World Taekwondo Championships to be held in China during May 2007.
Sri. Y. Sivasagar Rao, CMD, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant inaugurated the Championships on 18th January 2007 and other Guest of Honour present during the Opening Ceremony were Sri. Anil Kumar Singhal, IAS, Collector & District Magistrate, Sri. Mukesh Kumar Meena, IAS, Commissioner, GVMC.

We appreciate the team of youngsters, who gave Vizagites a chance to experience a ride in a hot air balloon. But it was a bit of a disappointment as the balloon was tethered and went to a rather low height, and cost Rs.800 per ride.
