Heavy Rainfall in the city

VIZAG EXPERIENCES HEAVY RAIN:
Heavy rains lashed Vizag once again within 15 days of the last downpour with the met office reporting 10 cm of rain in less than 12 hours. The downpour left many Vizagites stranded and attendance was thin in most offices. Busy junctions saw traffic jams and overflowing drains were a common sight.   The low-lying areas of Velamapeta, Poorna Market and Jalaripeta were flooded with more than knee-deep water.  Visibility was low due to the non-stop rain. The  low pressure over the Bay of Bengal reported yesterday in VizagCityOnline.com is the cause of this rain.
