"My ambition is to become a famous musical director like A. R. Rehman", says Master R Ajeeth, a 10 year old, Std VI, pupil at
ETASI Timpany School. This is not simply a childhood dream; it is based on his exceptional musical talent that has seen him emerge as winner in numerous musical instrument competitions over the past three and half years.
Ajeeth has broad musical tastes and has played songs in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and English in over 60 performances at many famous venues, including World
Museum Day celebrations at the Gandhi Memorial Museum in
Madurai. His range includes devotional songs, patriotic songs and popular
film songs. Not surprisingly, Ajeeth is in demand to play at parties
and other functions.
Ajeeth is the son of proud parents Rajesh & Purnima Rajesh and a
student of music teacher Mr. Mohideen. In addition to musical talent, Ajeeth has demonstrated excellent academic skills and has been at the top of his class since kindergarden. At a national level he was awarded an "A" grade in the All India Talent Search Examination, run by the New Delhi Children's Educational Trust,
There has been no shortage of independent recognition for his abilities as demonstrated by the many awards he has received including; "Bala
medhavulu - Super Kid 2004" by the Kurella Group of Trusts, "Visakha Aanimuthyam Award - 2005" by the Sri Rao Memorial Organisation, Super Kid- 2005 by the Visakha Valley Junior Chamber of
Jaycees and "Ugadi Puraskar - 2006" from M/s. Tippala
Ramana Reddy Charitable Trust.
Truly, a young man of promise, be it in pursuit of musical or academic goals, he should go far.
