Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam in coordination with VMDA and Visakhapatnam Dharmika Salaha Mandali had organized a memorable cultural programme to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of legendry poetess Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba at Kalabharathi auditorium on
08th May, 2009. 'Sadguru' Sri. Sivanandamurthy, 'Sangita Kalanidhi' Sri. Nedunuri Krishnamurthy have graced the occasion. Mrs. Kolavennu Malayavasini, former Head of the Telugu Dept. of A.U. gave a glimpse of various profiles of versatile personality of Tarigonda Vengamamba. Dr.Gummuluri Indira presented a detailed description of lyrical beauties of the saint composer. A musical treat was presented by reputed artistes. Sri.G.R.K.Prasad, Secretary DSM and trusty of VMDA successfully conducted the programme. |
