"Teachers play a vital role in the transformation of children through Education based on Human Values", observed Sri P.Ramesh Babu, district coordinator (spiritual), Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation while addressing the teachers on one day Teachers orientation programme on Human Values at Sri Sathya Sai Prema Sadan in the premises of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar on Sunday. The programme was organized under the aegis of Balvikas education wing of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Visakhapatnam for teachers from various schools in Visakhapatnam. Sri GKP Mukunda Rao, district president, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation inaugurated the one-day programme. Sri GKP Mukunda Rao and Sri DSN Murthy, convener, sri Sathya sai city seva samithi highlighted the importance of Human Values based education which helps in transforming the budding children as a responsible future citizen which in turn helps in making a healthy Nation. Speaking on the occasion the speakers said that the present education system does not help in imparting the children the most essential Human values as an integral part of the Education. “Education is for Life- Not for Living’ quoted by Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The “Educare” which was started by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba aims at imparting Quality education based on Human Values like Ahimsa, Sathya, Dharma, Santhi (Peace) and Prema. Speaking on the occasion Smt.Jaya Kumar Malladi stressed upon the vital role of teachers in de-stressing the children who are subjected to various kinds of pressures in the present scenario. She said that a teacher is the best person who can mould the child as a responsible citizen by imparting education with love and through Human values. Around 130 Principals and teachers from various schools, Kum.Rohini, dist.in-charge, Balvikas, Smt.Satyaprabha,balvikas incharge, city seva samithi, balvikas teachers have participated in the programme.

" Sri Aradhana festivial of Sadguru Sri Tyagaraja Swamy"

The Annual Aradhana festivial of Sadguru Sri Tyagaraja swamy have commenced at Kalabharathi Auditorium on 23/1/11 and will be held till 28/1/11. In his inaugural speech H.H. Sri.Paripoornaananda has given a detailed description of the significance of Aradhana and also explained about technical aspects of Vedanta. sri. Ajay Kallam, chairman,VPT, has addressed the gathering and has reiterated his commitment to the cause of traditional Fine Art forms. Sri.C.S.N.Raju, Founder President, VMDA, Sri. I.V.L.Sastry, Secretary Tyagaraja Aradhana Trust and sri,G.R.K.Prasad, Secretary, VMDA have graced the occassion. Sri Rama Nityopacharamulu- a classical bharathanatyam dance programme was colourfully presented by students of Nritya Kala Bharathi under the guidance of Guru Sri. Avasarala Rukmaji Rao.
