Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vihar celebrated its 26th Anniversary on Sunday. The Chief Guest Prof. V.V. Bhanoji Rao, visiting Prof. of National University, Singapore, applauded the school for upholding rich Indian Culture and tradition in all its activities. Releasing the Xth issue of School Newsletter , the Chief Guest said the Sai schools all over the country have a special mission and purpose to serve. He complimented sri SG Chalam on his selection as first state president from Vizag and also for being the youngest state president of sri Sathya sai seva organization. He called for Human values based education all over the world for transforming the budding children as responsible future citizens. Gold medals and awards were presented to students who excelled in academics and extra-curricular activities. The cultural programme of the anniversary featured a fusion of different types of classical dances of India paying their obeisance in brilliant colors and postures to lord Nataraja. “Love all – Serve all” the famous quote of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was depicted thematically in different religions proving that all religions lead to the same goal “Love all – Serve all“ . The music choir of the school conducted a Jugalbandi of East meeting West in unison of melody of music with various instruments like violin, veena, mrudangam, guitar, table, flute, key board, jazz, cango drums and girl singers. A dazzling radium show was also put up by the Std. X students as the Dances of “Minmini’ striking in the dark, the formations enthralled the audience thoroughly. The last item of the programme ‘Sambhavaami Yuge Yuge” portrayed in a music ballet the advent and mission of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba . the cultural programmes have enthralled the audience. The programme was attended by Sri SG Chalam, AP State president, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, GKP Mukunda Rao, District president, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, several senior office bearers of the organization, Governing body members of the school sri DSN Murthy, NRS Prasada Rao, parents and hundreds of well wishers have attended the programme.
