BHAGAVAN SRI SATHYA SAI VIDYA VIHAR

Guided and inspired by Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, Sri Sathyasai Vidya Vihar has come a long way with the motto “Education is for life and not for living” which has completed 26 years of excellence ever since its inception on 24th June 1985. Festivity and gaiety marked the 27th anniversary celebrations of the school in its serene premises on 18th December, 2011. Chief guest of the function sri AP Choudhary, CMD, Visakhapatnam steel plant lighted the traditional jyothi to mark the celebrations. Smt.A.Kausalya, principal gave an overall report about the achievements of the school over the years.
In his speech, Sri SG Chalam, convener of the school & state president, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Andhra Pradesh lauded the significant achievements of the school. He called upon the staff to re-dedicate themselves in the Divine mission of imparting high human value based education to the budding children. Sri Choudhary presented prizes to 20 students who secured 10 out 10 grade in last year CBSE class X exams and gold medals to outgoing children who are presently in class x for their excellence in academics and extra-curricular activities.
Speaking on the occasion Sri Choudhary lauded the stupendous growth of the school. He complimented the management, staff and students for taking the school to greater heights in pursuit of excellence as per the stands set by Bhagavan Sri Sathya Saibaba. He expressed confidence that the school will uphold the high values advocated by Sri Sathya Sai Baba. He lauded the service activities of the students to the poor and needy. Now there is a serious thrust for values based education with a spiritual backdrop due to the complexities around us in today’s world. Sri choudhary advised the students not to get perturbed due to the severe competition prevailing in the society today as there are apt number of opportunities on the other hand. Sri Choudhary released the school flash, the bi-annual news bulletin on the occasion. Inspired by the talent of the school students, Sri Choudhary announced spontaneously a Gold Medal on behalf of the Vizag Steel Plant award to p\one of the students from next year.
The entire programme is based on the theme "The pride of peacock is the Glory of God - William Blake". Right from the invitation card to the decoration and a dance item highlighted the beauty, colour an elegance of the National bird Peacock. The whole programme vividly expressed in the hues and grace of Peacock.
Later, the cultural programmes presented by the children have enthralled the audience. programmes like "Prayer in Unison"- a dance programme highlighting the unity in diversity and unity of all religions, heroic feats like karate, zymnastics, skating by the students kept the audience' pulse racing. A colorful dance programme depicting various birds stole the show. Values preached by Bhagavan Sri Sathya Saibaba were vividly displayed by the children through a colourful dance drama titled "STARS OF SAI IN THE PATH OF LOVE". The programme concluded with the maha mangala harathi.
Governing body members of the school, hundreds of parents, eminent citizens from various walks of life, several office bearers, staff and students participated in the anniversary celebrations with enthusiasm and fervour.

NAVY CHILDREN SCHOOL CELEBRATES ITS ANNIVERSARY

The Primary Wing of Navy Children School (Nausena Baugh) celebrated its 36th Annual Day on Wednesday, 14 Dec 11 at the Samudrika Naval Auditorium with great fanfare. It was for the first time that the little ones of Classes I to III had a day to themselves to showcase their talent. The theme for the Annual Day Winds of change - The Fourth Dimension was appreciated by one and all as it has highlighted the changes that have come with time and in doing so, it linked the past, present and future. The children set the stage on fire with their spell binding performances. It was indeed a proud moment for the school and the parents to see their little ones ooze confidence and grace. They outdid themselves and stole the hearts of everyone with their mesmerizing performances.
The Chief Guest Rear Admiral T Sudhakar, NM, Chief Staff Officer (Personnel & Administration), Headquarters, eastern Naval Command lauded the efforts of the children and gave away prizes to the meritorious students. The Headmistress, Mrs T Anuradha Nagesh presented the Annual Report. The function was attended by the members of School Management Committee, Principal and dignitaries of the Eastern Naval Command. The charm of the participants worked like magic and indeed made the evening memorable.
