Mr. Murali Krishna Reddy, Managing Director of Diana Hotels (Green Park) was adjudged as the "Winner of CNBC-TV18 Emerging India Awards 2007" on Travel & Tourism. The award was given away by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India, Dr. Man Mohan Singh at a function held at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, on 22nd June 2007.

The depression over west central Bay of Bengal moved in a wnw-ly direction and lay centred of 1200 utc the 21st June 2007 within half a degree of lat 16.0 deg. N long 84.0 deg E about 220 kms ESE of Kakinada.

Expected conditions: wind : SW-ly 30/35 kts becoming cyclonic around the centre of lat 16.0 deg.N./long 84.0 deg E, widespread rain and thundershowers, poor visibility and very rough to high seas.

The District Taekwondo Association bid farewell to Police Commissioner Mr. V.S.K. Kaumudi, IPS who has been transferred to Hyderabad. Mr. Kaumudi had served Vizag for about two and a half years as a Police Commissioner. The association members praised him on his success of conducting Fourth Open Senior and Junior Taekwondo championships in the month of January 2007.
