Vizag is a scenic city for film shooting but permissions are required from the local governing authorities, announced star turned producer Akkineni Nagarjuna. He was in the city promoting his new film Rajanna this Thursday. Speaking to newsmen, he said, Visakhapatnam has been the venue for number of movies for the past three decades. Surrounded with natural beauty and better resources, most of the producers are planning to take up their projects here, but getting permissions are not easy. Promoting his latest release Rajanna,he said, this film was proposed to be shot here, but due to non availability of permissions,at the last minute it was shifted to Chennai. For the Cine industry to establish in Visakhapatnam , It will require a lot of time and permissions. It took almost 25 years of struggle and hardship for shifting Tollywood from Chennai to Hyderabad, Nag stated.
