Shri P Upadhyay, a 1987 batch of Indian Naval Armament Service Officer has taken over as the Chief General Manager of Naval Armament Depot (NAD), Visakhapatnam under the Eastern Naval Command. An alumina of Naval Defence College (NDC-53) and recipient of commendations of the Chief of the Naval Staff and FOCINC (South), Shri Upadhyay was the Chief General Manager of NAD Alwaye, Kerala before taking over the present organisation and also served as Principal Director of Naval Armaments at the Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defence(Navy), New Delhi and General Manager of NAD, Trombay during his early tenures. He possesses Masters Degree in Digital Electronics and Guided Missiles, MBA (Operations) and M Phil (Defence Strategy and Studies).
