As we
prepare ourselves for the challenges of this millennium, we look back with
satisfaction at
our work for over two decades in the field of education.

OLIVET, a
co-educational English Medium School, recognised by the Andhra Pradesh State Government
was founded in the year 1979, the International Year of the Child. It offers education for
children above the age of two and half. Classes start from Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten,
Kindergarten and Classes I to X.

COURSE OF INSTRUCTION AND SCHEME OF STUDIES:

The curriculum, in general, is based on teaching practices that are systematic in approach, and thoroughly scientific and modern in concept practices which understand and meet the needs, abilities and problems of each child, with accent on character training.

From
kindergarten to class five, the scheme of studies suggested by the National Council for Educational Research and Training is followed.
|
|
2.
|
From
classes six to ten, the scheme of studies suggested by the Secondary School Certificate (State
syllabus) is followed.
