M. K. School of Nursing, Visakhapatnam, was conceived as a fully residential nursing school with excellent hostel facilities.

It is recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh as well as the A. P. Nursing Council, and offers courses in General Nursing and Midwifery. It trains nurses to work in hospitals and to help alleviate the sufferings of the needy and the disabled. A basic course in General Nursing serves as a stepping stone, following which students take up more advanced courses in Professional Nursing.

M. K. School of Nursing aims at offering total training in Nursing, including the practical and theoretical aspects so that the students are able to face the toughest professional challenges.

The school offers training in general nursing as well as in research and extensive and projective programmes dealing with various aspects of nursing. The search for a modern technique to bestow training on their students to enable them to be efficient diploma holders of nursing and to be able to understand the present and future requirements is always on.
